Design and build a secure, real-time check-in and check-out management system for facility operations, allowing seamless tracking of personnel movements.

Approach

Architected the backend with Laravel, leveraging its robust authentication and request handling. Built the user interface in React.js for high responsiveness. Set up, deployed, and managed the complete application infrastructure and DevOps pipelines on AWS.

Outcome

System fully completed, deployed to production, and currently maintained under active post-launch support.

Challenge

Develop a reliable warehouse inventory management application to track material flow, stock levels, and storage locations with strong data integrity.

Approach

Constructed a database-backed inventory log on Laravel APIs, paired with a React.js interface for quick staff operations. Managed the deployment architecture on AWS and established continuous delivery pipelines.

Outcome

Platform delivered successfully and currently operating smoothly under support.

Challenge

Support and extend a growing music streaming platform — handling bug fixes across a complex codebase, shipping new features under tight timelines, and maintaining platform stability as the user base grows.

Approach

Diagnosed and resolved production bugs systematically, tracing issues through the full stack rather than patching surface symptoms. Delivered new features with minimal regression by writing against the existing architecture's grain rather than introducing new patterns unnecessarily.

Outcome

Platform remains stable in production. Bug backlog reduced significantly. New features shipped on schedule across the 2024–2026 period.

Challenge

Build a full communication platform integrating Twilio's voice calling and SMS APIs — handling call routing, message queuing, delivery status tracking, and webhook event processing reliably at scale.

Approach

Designed a NestJS-based event-driven backend that handles Twilio webhooks idempotently. Built robust retry logic and status reconciliation to handle the edge cases Twilio's async model creates. Also provided Twilio-related support to the Bonzo product team.

Outcome

All project milestones completed. System handles live call and SMS traffic in production. The Bonzo integration also went live.

Challenge

Maintain and extend a live enterprise platform over multiple years — balancing new feature delivery against the risk of regressions in a production system that clients depend on daily.

Approach

Built familiarity with the codebase incrementally, introduced structured debugging processes, and established a pattern of thorough manual testing before any production push. Prioritised backward compatibility in all changes.

Outcome

System has remained live and stable across 3+ years of continuous support and incremental feature development.

Challenge

Deliver a complete personal finance tracking application independently — covering backend API, database design, authentication, and frontend — as one of the first independent projects in my career.

Approach

Built end-to-end using PHP/Laravel for the backend and a clean frontend interface. Established my own development workflow for independent ownership: requirements → schema → API → frontend → QA → deployment.

Outcome

Application delivered independently. Demonstrated I could own the full lifecycle of a product without requiring constant oversight.

Challenge

Provide ongoing engineering support for TPC — triaging bugs, fixing production issues, and shipping new features without disrupting an active user base.

Approach

Established a structured approach to each bug report: reproduce first, understand root cause, fix at the source rather than at the symptom. New features scoped carefully to avoid scope creep and regression.

Outcome

Consistent delivery of bug fixes and feature additions. Platform remains stable in production through 2026.
